Everything in this photo is edible and Vegan! All created by the master of vegan desserts Danielle Maupertuis.
She asked me to come up with an Easter themed shoot “avoiding nests, birds and chocolate eggs”..... So after some creative head scratching I came up with the idea of a bright green Spring look. The desserts were arranged on an edible green crumb, edible flowers then positioned around with a semi-organised almost surreal look in their arrangement, then I added some bright spring like lighting to complete the image.
Danielle said "The coconut soft-boiled egg hides a mouth melting chocolate halva. The Robin's House is an adaptation of the classic Austrian Sacher Torte: a rich chocolate sponge, raspberry jam and a chocolate ganache.
The mango and passion fruit nest brings a fruity and refreshing touch..."
The final photograph was to promote Danielle's events and for inclusion in her soon to be published Vegan Desserts book.
